Summer Movie Project

Zoe Polley grew up in a town not far from Middletown, Ohio. Though she
loved movies, there wasn’t an outlet for her creativity until high
school, and even that was a limited experience lasting only a single semester.
Having had the opportunity to visit New York City during summer vacations,
she'd seen how much more a larger city had to offer. Wanting to
give a real movie experience to the kids in Middletown, she combined her
love of kids and her love of movies. In December of 2003, she came up
with the idea of the Youth Summer Movie Project.
